In our charitable work, we make personal connections between companion animals and human partners by supporting animal care organizations. We provide funding for rescue efforts, shelter care, adoptions, spay neuter services, medical care and animal facility improvements.About Us
Anita A. Vitullo, Staffworks founder and owner, has made animal advocacy her personal mission donating time, money and resources to animal welfare organizations. In addition to her ongoing support, she established a strong legacy for at-risk animals with The Staffworks Fund at The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties.The Foundation manages over $15.5 million in Staffworks funds that support nonprofit organizations providing direct care and services for animals and people. Since its inception, the Staffworks Fund has provided $9.3 million in grants for 57 organizations in local and regional communities.
In 2014, the Staffworks Fund Save A Life Campaign was established. This regional fundraising effort provides matching levels for community donations made to animal welfare organizations located in Central New York during the month of December. The Campaign has raised over $8.6 million for nonprofit organizations providing direct care and services for at-risk animals in regional communities where Staffworks operates.

In 2021, 32 organizations in 11 counties participated in the Campaign raising an incredible $2,464,845 in 32 days!
All Campaign funds will be used for daily animal care and to fill critical adoption and medical needs, spay & neuter services and food pantry services.
